Handover of land for the construction of the Chancay sports center

November 23, 2021. With the presence of Mayor Aurora Dulanto de Balta, representatives of the Regional Government of Lima, of the Municipality of Chancay (MDCH), of Volcan Compañía Minera S.A.A. and Cosco Shipping Ports Chancay Perú S.A. (CSPCP), the handover of the land where the future sports center of the Chancay district will be built was made.
The ceremony was held in the vicinity of the Rómulo Shaw Cisneros stadium, where the future sports center will be built, which will have facilities to develop soccer, volleyball and basketball practices. Likewise, it will have a semi-Olympic pool with tempered water and sports equipment for the different disciplines. The work will have an investment of around nine million soles and will be executed under the modality of Works for Taxes (OxI).
The delivery of this land is carried out after the signing of the agreement for the construction of this building, which took place in October of this year, at the offices of the Regional Government of Lima located in Huacho. In this way, Volcan Compañía Minera S.A.A. and Cosco Shipping Ports Chancay Perú S.A. They reaffirm their commitment to Chancayan talent and to promoting sports for children and youth in the Chancay district.
